Cost:
A standard photo shoot is 800 AUD.
Standard Inclusions:
A photo shoot for up to three hours at clients' home.
All post-shoot image editing.
A CD containing up to 30 full-size, fully-edited digital images, delivered securely.
An optional weekday post-shoot image presentation and consultation for local clients.
Other packages include a selection of printed and matted archival photographs. (Optional)
The Package:
Family photo shoot clients receive a CD of fully-edited, full-size digital images. This gives clients the flexibility to print their own photographs at their leisure. Clients also have the option of adding reasonably priced archival quality, matted photographs to their package. These beautifully presented photographs are ready to be slipped into frames and given to grannies and grandpas as special gifts.
The CD:
Yes, of course. Your CD will contain up to 30 of the best images in full-size
jpeg format (suitable for printing) and also small-size jpegs (suitable
for email), all of which is included in the fee. Your CD will be sent securely by
recorded post (requiring a signature) approximately one week after your shoot. Clients
also have the option of having their CD hand-delivered after the shoot as part of
the complimentary image presentation, consultation service.
Hidden Charges and Obligations:
No, not at all. There are no hidden charges. Clients are not required (or pressured) to purchase printed photographs. See the terms and conditions and payments information for full details.
Weekends:
Yes, certainly. Weekends are popular for family shoots, so you may have to wait a little longer than if you were to select a weekday.
Travel:
Yes. Heidi shoots in Victoria and Queensland on an annual basis. As well as shooting annually in London, outer-London and Stockholm. Simply send details of your location and availability for the photo shoot. Every attempt will be made to arrange the shoot, but an additional fee to cover local travel costs may apply.
Rescheduling:
Don't worry, your shoot will be rescheduled. You are most welcome to call or email with any questions or concerns that arise between the time of booking and your shoot. Heidi will be in touch a couple of days before the shoot, too, to reconfirm all details. She will also offer a time on the day of your shoot before which it is OK to reschedule, should something come up at the very last minute. Please refer to the terms and conditions for the full cancellation policy.

Yes. Certificate number 5764BB/03/11/2011 and Enhanced CRB cleared.

Compatibility:
Yes. The images will be in jpeg format and are suitable for use on a Mac and/or a PC.
Printing:
The convenience of receiving large-size images on CD is that you can arrange printing whenever and with whomever you like. You can upload the digital files to one of the many photo printing websites, or you can take the CD in to a photo printing store. This is ideal for everyday printing. Heidi can also recommend local print studios that offer professional standard printing, and stores that stock quality and affordable frames (ready-made and bespoke), or even take care of printing, should that be your preference.
Crops:
When you receive your CD, Heidi will include a letter that outlines the crop that has been used on every image. For example, image01: 2:3 crop ratio. This means that image01 should be printed at a size corresponding with that crop ratio, so, in this example, 4x6", 8x12", etc. Knowing how each image has been cropped will ensure that the printed photograph will not be stretched or re-cropped to fit the paper.
Licensing:
If you would like to use any of the images for commercial use you must obtain permission first. A license fee also applies. Please refer to the terms and conditions for full details and get in touch to discuss it further.
Payment Methods:
Direct debit is preferred. PayPal is also available. Either way, payment is quick, easy and secure. For more information click here.
Payment:
Your booking is confirmed when you have paid the deposit in full and funds have cleared. Your deposit is due one week before your scheduled shoot. For more information click here.
Gift Certificates:
You are very welcome to purchase a gift certificate. A gift certificate is a great gift idea for the mum-to-be, new parents, birthdays and Christmas presents, Mother's and Father's Day. Each personalised voucher is issued as a hand-finished certificate on quality stationery. The certificate is then sent to you or to the recipient securely. You also have the option of an electronic gift certificate, which is sent via email. Email for more information.
